The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"We just spent a few nights here. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. Where this hotel really shines is the service. The staff went well out of their way to accommodate us and ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast was amazing and provided far more food than we imagined and packed leftovers for us which also became our lunch. On the day we left we were leaving early, when they found out we would be missing breakfast we were offered a packed lunch instead which was also delicious. This hotel exceeded expectations! Would certainly recommend."
