I stayed at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District hotel for two nights on a business trip. Most of the staff I encountered were very friendly, and overall the hotel was pleasant and clean. The room itself was also clean and very nice, with all the required amenities and a nice flat screen TV. The staff came in to tidy, replace coffee, toiletries, etc in a timely manner. It is convenient to take a cab from the hotel to center city (about $8/trip), although you might be able to walk if it is nice in the day (and there is also reportedly subway access close by although I did not use the subway). I really appreciated that I could go to the restaurant and bar downstairs when I returned from business events later in the evening. For me this was a huge plus as I was traveling alone and, not knowing the city or area well, did not feel quite safe venturing out to eat on my own later at night. I spent two enjoyable nights eating at the bar, and the food, drink, and service were all great. Also if you are hungry much later on after the restaurant is closed, they have grab and go foods and a microwave (along with drinks, extra toiletries etc.), right next to the check in. The bed was super comfortable and the area is generally quiet (as compared to other city hotel locations), so I felt rested the entire trip. The price was also very fair with 15% off for a two night stay, and that made me even happier. I would absolutely stay here again, and would look forward to it!

The hotel was in a wonderful location. The staff was friendly and premises were clean and new. Was not happy about the $19/day parking fee that was not told to me ahead of my stay. If your patronizing a property you should be able to park for free. That would be my only negative.

I stayed in a 1 King bedroom. It rained the whole time, so I stayed in my room most of the time. I didn't get to utilize the facilities as much but the people are friendly and nice. The room isn't maintained daily unless you remember to place a flyer on your bed to change the sheets. Other than that, I don't think they vacuumed unless you're leaving. Overall, everything is great. I got a good deal.

You can't beat the location. The free shuttle to the park is an extra bonus. Within walking distance to some nice restaurants. This is our third time staying here. Will be back on our next trip to Hershey!
