"Saccharum hotel is a really special place. It is a small paradise that has an infinity pool with an ocean view, amazing gardens, indoor pool, great staff, and really restaurants with amazing views of the ocean. It is located very close to Calheta sandy beach. It is highly recommended if you would like to have a calm and picturesque stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Madeira. I will definitely come back here again. "

Food was good, not great, but service was fantastic all across the board. Easy to get to and easy to take day trips to Porto Moniz and Funchal. I would recommend Calheta Beach. "

"This was our 2nd visit & it did not disappoint. We will return annually to this hotel. The staff is so knowledgeable & friendly. Hotel is easy access to shopping area with bike rental a 5 minute walk away. Hotel offers wonderful breakfast with fruit, yogurts, cheeses,meats, and also hot service of eggs, bacon,mushrooms, etc. Love the breads & pastries!
