It is located very close to Calheta sandy beach. It is highly recommended if you would like to have a calm and picturesque stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Madeira. "Calheta Beach Resort is a simple yet lovely beach property. Some reviews say ‘dated’, but I think that’s the charm of the place. Food was good, not great, but service was fantastic all across the board. Easy to get to and easy to take day trips to Porto Moniz and Funchal. I would recommend Calheta Beach. "

"Great dining options very good for gluten free. fabulous service and very, very clean. Great pool and poolside bar cafe. Entertainment was good rooms comfortable with good pillow options. Plenty of English language TV. Only down side was no steam room which was something we missed. "
