"Easily accessible by public transportation, perfectly situated between the Old City and the Art Nouveau district, the Metropole is one of Riga's best hotels. Yet it is surprisingly affordable. Rooms are small, but the hotel dates from a time when rooms were just for sleeping. Public spaces are attractive and clean. Staff is multilingual and attentive. The "Gastropub" De Commerce 1871 should receive better notice: it's a lovely space with first class continental dishes and an excellent bar."

"This hotel doesn’t exist anymore. No one emailed or texted me to tell me. I called the number posted on the door; they said they tried to contact me, but that’s a lie, obviously— I wouldn’t have shown up there if they had. The very rude woman tried to get me to stay in a nearby hotel, but I went there to take a look, and it was filthy. "Everything almost perfect, EXCEPT ! - noises from the clubs downstairs and around on friday and especially saturday nights are absolutely horrible! It’s unbearable from wall vibrations, drunken screaming from under the windows ! Forget about quiet resting and sleeping until 3 AM at least ! Hotel staff is extremely nice but they are powerless to do anything about it! But that is the only negative impression( Otherwise the Neiburgs is impeccable."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. The only issue we had was with some confusion regarding booking at taxi to pick us up from the airport, but that was a minor thing (and as we ended up getting a different taxi the hotel removed this from our bill). Location wise it is very close to the Old Town, so you can walk to many of the major tourist attractions. 5 stars!"

"Everything was as good as can with covid19 going around. Breakfast was in another hotel and it was a bit crowded taking account that we have a virus at large. Also parking space was full even tho I asked before hand and the place they advised was 1/3 more expensive than they said it would be. On plus side we got a tip to park our car for free on Saturday after 17:00, near the river."

"Defínele a Very Nice Hotel In The Heart Of Old town in Riga. Uber Is Not expensive and this hotel seems to be close to everything. I would stay there again if I come back to Riga"
