I should have read the reviews before booking this motel. Because it was a Wyndham property I thought it would be passable for a couple of days. First, they would not honor the pre-paid rate I booked on Expedia. To say some of the staff is rude is an understatement. They advertise that breakfast is included but I don’t consider a stale donut breakfast. The motel is in need of repair. The furniture is old and outdated. The room had a mildew smell. And the toilet backed up. I actually received a call from the front desk telling us not to use too much toilet paper. There was not enough hot water for a quick shower. But this is the kicker-one morning I received a hysterical phone call from the front desk-I think the employee was Sonny-saying he had gone into our room while we were out and the room reeked of urine and we would have to move out immediately and pay a cleaning fee. He also asserted that my husband smelled of urine. I can assure you that my husband is toilet trained and does not smell of urine. No, do not stay here.

Cheap but horrible!!!!!!
Not the cleaiest hotel to stay in. Very old building and uncomfortable beds. The breakfast was a joke and horrible.

Will Not Return!
It was dirty, refrigerator wasnt working and stunk when opened. Comforter was dirty woth multiple stains and cigarette burns on it. Room smelt like cigarettes and was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. I was supposed to be there 3 days. I cancelled 2 days and Orly stayed the first night because it was late and i did not want to try to find another room.

I totally don't like this hotel. In the moring the front guy called me to remind me check out at 11 am but called again at 10:30 am, I was upset on these reminders to push me. The smell in the room was weired, won't come back again.

It overwhelmingly smelled of cleaning chemicals and they had a ton of fans blowing like they were trying to cover up some smell, but the cleaning products were so overwhelming I got sick and had to leave

Yeah I stayed because I was too tired to drive on.
The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. The bedding stunk of cigarettes. This was a non smoking room. The lobby was in a mess.

Disgusting Place
During check in, the guy at the front desk asked me to pay an additional $5 because I was having company over 12oclock. Which I didn’t understand. Then, fast forward to going to my room let’s just say there is no air in the highways nor in the elevator they have fans all through the place. Going into my room, they had the air conditioner off so it was mighty hot in there , with a little of a smell. Cool I brushed that off by turning on the A/C and leaving for bout 15 mins to let it cool down. While I was laying down sleep I felt something crawling on me and let’s just say it was a COCKROACH, yes I said it COCKROACH. i instantly got up to make sure I wasn’t going crazy or anything and I wasn’t the big was crawling up the way. Going to let the front desk person know and he tells me that it’s nothing he can do. I showed him a video of the bug crawling up the way and he goes to say what would you like for me to do. So I asked him for a refund and he told me to call Hotel.com to get my refund I did that just for this guy to tell the agent at hotels.com that I lied about a COCKROACH being in my room when he seen the video. Then goes to say I never showed him the video. YALL PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. EVEN A LADY THAT IS STAYING THERE TOLD ME THAT I WASNT LYING ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE COCKROACHES PROBLEMS RIGHT ALONE WITH BED BUGS.

You did stay 3 hours and we didn't inspect the room after your check out the following morning in our experienced housekeeper and staff did not find any sign of roaches or pest in that specific room. You spent a full hour arguing and debating at the front desk and causing a scene. We understand when we are at fault and we will apologize for any and all shortcomings nevertheless, however, our business does not like to be taken advantage of at the same time.

Staff at front desk was rude & abrupt. Dubious people in lobby. Very personal items on display behind counter giving it an air of “No tell Hotel”. Had booked late for 2 nights in desperation but decided not to stay the second night. Was refused a refund for the 2nd night although I gave notice at 9am the next morning. Left anyway without my refund.

The place was disgusting. Upon arrival i was told that my room had been canceled due to not being able to process my card. It was still early so there was no reason to had run my card. I had another card to pay with and the clerk was was like "just give me the card." Wow. This location offered a pool. No pool. I was given a smoking room with 4 children. Awful place and even worse service.

NEVER STAY HERE
This hotel room was booked and pre-paid for my son who was locked out of his apartment. He showed up with the booking in hand and they said because their internet was down he would need to either pay cash or get out. They had their phone off the hook so it was a constant busy signal. Hotels.com could not reach them either. They let a 22yo kid weighing all of 150# walk the streets of dallas at midnight with nothing but a rolling suitcase and a phone with no charge. Hotels.com had to book him another room 5 miles away and he had to uber there at 130a. NIGHTMARE

When I checked in … they made a photo copy of my ID AND credit card. AND I was given the key room …..it was occupied by someone else, as a women traveling alone and entering the room of an unsuspecting man was a horrible experience. I was given a half assed apology and another room.

This place is ok if you are just there for one night. But the comforter had some cigarette burns in them, walls had like some cracks, and we had a gecko in our bathroom. Staff was hardly in the front desk and random people could walk in.

BUGS AND HOMELESS SHOPPING CARTS
Desk clerk claimed their phones and internet were not working and that i couldnt use my credit card. Charged 44 dollars more than hotel.coms price. Found roaches in the room. There were homeless peoples shopping baskets in the drive way due to many homeless people making use of the motel. Both of my sons were repeatedly questioned by hotel staff as to when they checked in and which room they were staying. Four incedents where police were called to the hotel. Toilets were low grade and clogged repeatedly. Taco bell wrappers and trash in dresser drawers and desk drawers. Elevator malfunctioned numerous times. Checked out a day early with no refund due to the state of our room. Had to check and package all of our clothes in plastic bags and toss back packs and bags due to roaches getting into our stuff and not wanting them to return home with us. My oldest son claimed to have seen a bed bug on the wall and another beneath a pillow.

I don't recommend this place even to my enemy
I would recommend, just give it a skip. The worst experience till date. Very rude reception guy. Unwelcoming, Price changes after you check-in, so please confirm price before giving your ID and Credit card at the arrival of the hotel. They even told me to take it or leave it, and the charge will not be refunded. I have no other choice but to stay. I don't recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

Indians from hell
This Inn keeper and his mouthy wife were rude, clueless to basic needs, and insulting. First, when the tv failed to stay on for more than 10 minutes, he blamed me, stating " people your age dont know how to operate tvs". He tried to fix it, bt could not. When I asked to be moved to another room, he lied, staring they were overbooked. (The parking lot had 4 cars in it at 10 pm. ). He than began screaming at me when I insisted on moving. Finally after not backing down for an hour, he acquiesed, claiming he was puttung me in another booked room. He also claimed everyone wants a discounted room, and these customers inconvenienced him. Evidently, his wife was also raised watching Archie Bunker, and acted similar. She yelled at one couple, questioning how many people they had in their room, and forbiiding them from taking food there. When they invited her to check as it was just them, she lazily refused. The situation was like something out of a SNL skit, just utterly absurd. I will never try a Hotel 8 again.
