Although it is obvious the building is much older. It seems like renovations have been made to make the appearance of the rooms better. It's a very convenient location if you want to be in center of downtown Dallas and close to all the main attractions for the price we paid. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary stay. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other hotels we have visited in downtown and the receptionist that checked us in made it very easy and effortlessly. We would definitely come back again for a weekend getaway.

This place smelt very bad. They apparently allow people to smoke cigarettes in their units and it floods the hallway with a foul smell. The carpet was torn up in several areas and looks like their elevator was falling apart.

The property sits across the street from the projects.. it’s right on a very busy Boulevard.. it was clean carpets need to be replaced. Staff was friendly but I had to ask for pots to cook even tho all round have a kitchen.

Great folks at the front desk helped accommodate us when we had an early flight, and a 3pm check in. Nice breakfast, working hot tub/clean pool. Clean room. All around 4/5 stars. Thank you!

It was a nice comfortable room! Very clean and loved that we were able to walk to the stadium for the basketball game. About a 8 minute walk and very convenient. Would definitely stay there again our next trip to Dallas! Breakfast was decent. Staff were super polite & helpful.

Parking garage wasn’t over crowded. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Felt safe that you had to use your room key to get in after a certain hour. Walking distance to venue and bars. Great location.

I rate the Hyatt house at 3.5 stars. Great location to American Airlines center. Friendly staff and good customer service. Amazing shower pressure. There were some spots in the room that could be cleaner like the wall area around the air vents. There was some areas in the bathroom that needed repair. But overall to me those were not deal breakers. Would stay again

On the day of check-out. Housekeeping begin knocking at my door at 9am, does not speak English and therefore I told her that I am getting ready to checkout but why are you knocking at 9am? Checkout is at 11am. Mr Billy the bartender was awesome. His drinks were amazing!!

We ordered a King room but when checking in they said they were sold out and gave us a 2 queen room. Sounded like there was an inebriated sumo wrestler above us who stumbled around the room and was about to come through the ceiling. The floors were very warped and creaky. The A/C unit would wake us every time it came on. Sounded like a freight train. After letting front desk know about all the inconveniences best they could do was comp our parking....needless to say, we won't stay here again.

Just a warning- if you get the more luxurious king sized room be prepared for a LONG wait. I waited nearly 2 hours for my room and it still wasn’t ready because they had lots of late check outs so I settled for a regular sized king room. The staff was very kind about the situation and I wasn’t mad at all. It was a situation out of mine and their control. I would still pick this hotel to stay in again.

Everything was good while staying there. It was convenient to get to places around. Only complaint i have is that the pillows too not firm enough and they were very small but other than that, it was a enjoyable stay.

Property is good. Ok condition. The first floor is VERY loud. The Main Street the hotel is on is very busy so you hear all the traffic noise. Breakfast isn’t bad. Will do the job when you’re in a pinch. Rooms are very spacious. Kitchenettes are great and have full size fridge and microwave as well as a couple of burners.

My family and I had a quick one night stay at the Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown. The room was large so we were very comfortable. The shower felt great after a long day as well. The complementary breakfast was good with plenty of options. The property was also walkable to the American Airlines Center which was great. Overall, we had a great stay.
