"The room had an interesting layout with a small living room (couch was stained) with the bathroom and closet opening up to it and a separate bedroom with just the 2 beds. The beds and pillows were comfy. The room had a funny smell (maybe because of the AC window unit). We commented that the long hallway leading up to the registration desk smelled great and wished that smell would carry into our room. The entire hotel was VERY dark. "The rooms are very clean and nice. Didn't hear anything from the rooms around me at all so they are quiet as well. The breakfast was pretty amazing. Definitely worth getting up for. The location is perfect too. It's very close to the parkway but back behind things so it's less chaotic getting to and from the property."

"Pleasantly surprised! Outside looks average, but inside the room is great! We had 2 beds, a couch with pullout bed, a kitchenette, and plenty of towels. Very comfortable. The pullout bed was made up too. They did a nice job with renovations. We were on the back side, so we could hear some street noise which didn't deter our sleep at all. Staff was very nice and helpful, even at a midnight check-in. Breakfast was OK. "

"I have stayed here many times. It has a nice location near KU med center. It has shopping center and restaurants nearby. It has easy access to the interstate.It's actually located in a somewhat quiet area. It has been showing signs of age though lately."
