"Staff slow in responding to problems. Took 1&1/2 hours to get a working TV remote on check-in. Traveling companion’s door lock stopped working & had to wait for an engineer to come in & drill door lock to open. Had to move all belongings to another room. Free snacks were removed by someone & never replaced. Overall hotel is nice & in nice area w/short walk to bus/tube. "

"We stayed one night before a 9am Eurostar. The room was quiet and relaxing with comfortable beds and a well designed bathroom. Storage was good and electrical points everywhere. The hotel bars and restaurants were exemplary and wonderful places to hang out. Breakfast was spectacular and it was a joy to be able to leave the hotel almost directly to Eurostar check in. The spa experience was a little mixed. It felt very busy in the pool area and was noisy so wasn’t actually pleasant to relax in...

"We were travelling on Eurostar but train strike and had to travel down night before. Princess hotel had late check in and very close to station. Just needed somewhere to sleep. Basic but clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom but good value for this location. "
