"Bare basic room, older furniture, a TV that worked, some paint/wall in bathroom looked like it needed work. Not the best, but it was okay for a short night's stay. There were plenty of outlets, which was a plus as I had a lot of devices/batteries to recharge, front desk clerk was very nice."

"The Hanna House was a random find on our part for a last minute weekend getaway. The owner is so nice and friendly and an amazing chef! Her breakfasts are delicious! The location is perfect and close to everything in downtown New Bern. We recommend this B&B and will definitely health be back! "

"The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place."

A lovely historical house and setting, wonderful and interesting accents around, excellent books with house and New Bern history to read, our room was comfortable and perfect with view of the clock, gracious additions to make our stay like home, the breakfast was delicious and excellent, off street parking and hosts helpful and personable. We would love to return! "
