“Perfect venue for easy access to Bath”

I understand the hotel has been recently refurbished and it certainly looks it. Very comfy room and I like the nespresso machine in the bedroom. I enjoyed having a double expresso whilst lying in bed watching E4 on Saturday morning! The staff were very friendly - a good balance between attentive and snotty.

“Great experience and close to the Bath Spa.”

Unknown to us at the time of booking The Francis hotel had just opened after a complete refurbishment, it was supberb. My daughter and I were completely happy with our 2 night stay and it was an added bonus to leave the car in there secure car park. It was £15-00 a night but it gave us peace of mind that we did not need to keep putting money in the car parks parking meters and parking in Bath is expensive in all the car parks. An excellent time was enjoyed at the Frances and in Bath Spa.

“Highly recommended”

Very recently refurbished to a high standard. Parking sounds expensive at £15 a night, but is actually really good value - Pay & Display in Queens Square is an eye-watering £2.90 per hour. Brasserie Blanc lived up to its name - service being just as good as that in the main hotel. Credit to the hotel - food from the bar menu was just as good as that served in BB The only downside was the lack of drawers in our room, which was slightly annoying. I'd certainly stay here again.

“A great hotel”

A wonderful 2 night stay from start to finish. The furnishings and fittings are superb. Staff are very helpful, polite and couldn't do enough for us. If I had to be picky, the only thing I would say is we ordered a twin room and it was a little cramped, with only one seat in the room by the window. But not a big deal and didn't spoil our stay. In a great location, walking distance to everywhere. Would definitely stay again.

“Ideal location to stay in Bath”

Excellent location right near the centre of Bath yet quiet - very attentive staff, parking on site which can be difficult in Bath - all in all a very good place to stay

“Great hotel”

The only grip was small cups in room, but when mentioned to reception on check out they said we should have asked for larger cups no problem

“Lovely hotel in a fantastic location.”

We stayed for 2 nights at the Francis and received a very warm welcome from the staff, including help with car parking and letting us store our luggage (then moving it straight to our room when we arrived which was very considerate) the room was lovely, very antique/traditional in style with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The location is superb - we would definitely visit again!
