"We were extremely disappointed with our choice of booking our stay at Monterio , to start with there was no breakfast buffet which was a part of the deal when we booked it online at Expedia , the hotel reception was stunned to notice that breakfast buffet was to be provided ; they do not even have a proper restaurant to have such an arrangement. The staff seems to be completely relying on the hotel manager for every request that was made and the manager is never to be seen in the hotel."

"Fair location , nice near by bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly. The venue is a nice size but VERY VERY run down , awful rooms , very basic, not really clean. The pool and garden is in a very bad state and didnt see a single person use it. "

"Although the resort is within 15mins walk from beach you have to walk along a narrow, very busy road which has no footpaths. Rooms are very noisy,due to the road and the whole resort needed fixing up properly. Faulty towers springs to mind. Breakfast was an Indian buffet which was ok. Staff were friendly but we didn't spend any time there apart from sleeping."

"I had a terrible experience at this Hotel. The room was dirty and smelled like smoke. The sheets were stained and there are no towels available. The bathroom was moldy and the shower was clogged. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They are not providing breakfast as it is mentioned and It is like Hostel rooms."
