"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. "

"I’ve done a lot of Safaris and seen a lot of Safari camps, and this camp/glamping setup was one of the best. I mean electricity, hot water, and fan.. what’s not to love. By far, the best meal offered was breakfast as I just felt dinner was a bit too basic. I also felt that they could have outlined the price individual drinks. "Dirty linen, dirty water bottles, slippery deck when wet, tent requires a lot of internal cleaning. Overall the place presents well, but the owners need to consider that guests will leave a negative review if maintenance is left by the wayside."

"The food menu was very disappointing especially when The Beige is isolated from town. Staff was warm and friendly however there should be training provided to them, it was mainly the communication, almost all staff were very weak in English. There should be a shuttle bus going to town because The Beige charges very exorbitant price to town, USD $20 per way for 25 mins ride-time. That means it is USD$40 for a return way!. I do love the tents are beautiful and very chic."

"It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect."

"Love the idea of staying in a jungle camp, but this is really in an area of dry bushes, a total stretch to call it jungle. Food was amazing. Camp set up was nice. But very important to note that this is actually about 40km from the entrance to the park where you do the safaris. There are options much closer. "I visited Dhora with my wife for a one-night getaway and our experience was simply outstanding. The resort itself is breathtaking; the owners/hosts are an amazing couple; and the area is ethereal.
