Terribly nice hotel
There is steel that helps to get to the central station quickly but you can walk 900 meters and you are in the metro two stations and you are a really tasty breakfast center

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the surrounding area very nice and taking the free ferry, one is in a few minutes in Amsterdam Central. Take one of the rented bikes to ride to the ferry 5 minutes and 5 minutes the ferry to down-town. I will come back to this Hotel.

Great Hotel
Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. They went out of their way to make my husband feel special on his birthday which was during our stay there. They are also very kid friendly. The AC actually works and they have an ice machine which both are rare things in Europe. They are close to multiple restaurants plus have a restaurant at the hotel.

Overall stay was fine...restrictions due to covid somewhat limiting and not overly well communicated up front when things were open/closed etc. but maybe this is confusion is normal at this time. In normal times, the hotel would be fine...location good, cleanliness, breakfast etc. all good

Solid Hotel
Great hotel, great service! The inside is much nicer than the outside would lead you to believe. We stay here at least once, every time we are in Amsterdam.

Functional, but cold room. Lack of any soap/shower-gel/shampoo, plus absence of milk didn't make for much of a welcome. All a bit run down and windswept behind its fortress gate.

Great service
We had an amazing experience with this hotel. The Front Desk especially "Amber" help us get into town and she even booked tours for us. We were always greeted with kindness and professional service. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone wanting a pleasant experience at an affordable price.

Nice Hotel on the Noord Side
Polite and efficient staff. Stylish and comfortable rooms (also a bit small). Breakfast buffet is overpriced but room service is good. I was able to walk to the ferry and to the old city to take a canal tour but it might be too far for people who don't walk much. Otherwise there are some good dining options nearby. There is a great local market nearby on Saturdays.

Comfortable place to stay
Visiting Amsterdam and surrounding area. The hotel needs updating but the location makes it easy for parking and proximity to get into Amsterdam via the ferry or shuttle. Nearby area has some restaurants and grocery store. Much cheaper than staying in Amsterdam so we have stayed here twice over the last year when visiting Amsterdam.

Staff was courteous. Hotel room spacious. Availability of regular shuttle bus service from Amsterdam Central to Hotel. Would be great if between 7 to 9 am they also have a shuttle bus service every 30 min for those who need to get to Amsterdam Central earlier in the day.

Great facility, convenient and quiet.
Great stay overall. The room was pretty spacious, quiet and super clean. The staff is extremely friendly. We made a reservation through Hotels.com but it wasn’t in the system when we checked in however the check in desk person took care of it right away. The shuttle in to town is extremely convenient. The neighborhood was fine... I couldn’t put my finger on it but it may have been a bit more modest considering all the security the hotel has.

Not too Noord for a Great Vacation
A ten-minute walk from the ferry to central station, which is free and leaves every 5 minutes. The property is well kept and the staff was very helpful. A hidden nugget.

Tip top hotel
Excellent hotel,v comfortable and reasonable. Although not in centre minibus shuttle got us close in 6/7 minutes. Hotel picked up that it was son’s birthday from passport- unbeknown to me- and produced a card & chocs.

Absolutely loved our time at this hotel! All staff were very helpful and friendly. When checking in we were given options for the room and chose one on the 5th floor (to limit street noise) which turned out to be with the best bed ever! Huge and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, had everything needed. It's convenient to explore the city with the free shuttle, or 10 min walk away from a metro stop, or 20 min walk to the ferry stop (which takes 2 min to the train station). Recommend this place and would stay here again.

Hotel is lovely, reception lovely. Quiet and clean all over. Only issue is that there was a stain on our bed sheets... which after three night's still wasn't changed? The stain wasn't from us either... And bathroom walls were dirty

We found our home away from home at the NH Amsterdam Noord! The hotel was very accommodating, comfortable, and provided all of the necessities we required. Since we were driving this trip, we need a hotel with a car park and preferably at no additional charge. The NH had an ample sized lot with plenty of spaces. The minor disadvantage was that it was across the Het IJ from the center of town, but there is a free shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes to take you to Amsterdam Centraal, which was prompt and very easy. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The closet and storage area with fridge was extremely helpful. The staff offered prompt and friendly assistance when requested and we’re always very nice to us. We will always stay here on our trips going forward.
