AVOID AT ALL COST!! The hostel was one of the worst I've ever visited. I was sold a dream by the pictures. Bedbugs on the bed and the sheets covered in blood from the bedbugs. Would not recommend staying here

Given it’s quite cheap to stay here, you do get what you pay for. The facilities are ok, but be careful with some of the shower and bathroom doors jamming.

I loved the staff at this place. They were so helpful and were so kind to me. It is the people who stayed at this place that made me feel very unsafe. When I asked to change rooms on account of this, the staff did so immediately and tried to place me with only females (I am a solo-female traveler). Unfortunately, that could not happen, and I was once again placed in a situation where I felt very unsafe.

Avoid at all costs.

Terrible state of the room and without curtains. It’s not possible to sleep at all because the street light directly shot into the room and the hostel staff didn’t offer any help. And in the night, you can hear everything as the wall is paper thin. The toilet on the 3rd floor not working and good luck to the shower too. We stayed at room 302 which does t haven’t curtains. Very bad smell of the room. People previously stayed must smoke weed in the room.

This Hostel is in a great location in Amsterdam, just a 5 minute walk from museums, the Vondelpark, restaurants and downtown Amsterdam. We stayed in a double room which was very tiny but did the job. I will say it was not the cleanest, the room could have used a vacuum and a wipe down of windows and surfaces in general. The shower room was very dirty, very limited water pressure and only cold water. I heard theres hot water sometimes in the morning. Overall, great location, we felt safe but it was smelly and dirty.

This was the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were dirty and the atmosphere was very unsafe. There were drug addicts in my room who told me they were living there permanently. They did all sorts of drugs. Nothing matched the positive reviews, and I felt completely misled. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

The toilets are not regularly checked and tissues emptied. Same with the bin in our room, I had to ask for it to emptied on the 2nd day. Beds seem to be allocated randomly as I got in the room and my bed was already taken. Then i was told to take a different bed which was then allocated to another person who came and removed my belongings. People including your own staff smoking weed and cigarettes in front of the entrance despite notices. This is not healthy. Last few weeks, I left behind my waistcoat/vest and called immediately. I was told they'd ask housekeeping but no one had a record of my enquiry nor did they ask housekeeping. Lost item gone!

The room was tiny (i’ve stayed in hostels before and this was crazy), tons of stairs so impossible to get luggage up to easily, smelled AWFUL cannot overstate this enough, and just overall felt dirty

Terrible. Very dirty and stinky everywhere. No place in the room where to put or hang clothes. Dirty toilet and showers with no safe doors because handles were broken. Very noisy. They have a “kitchen” but is almost impossible to cook something if you want to.The only good thing was the position.

Worst place to stay

The worst place I have ever stayed in. Dirty and stained sheets, hair all over the shower walls, the worst service ever. I had to ask the receptionist three times to clean the toilet as it says on the website that there is house keeping everyday. It was unable to be done until the third and last day of our trip. To our horror we then found bed bugs! We instantly left and had to pay to sleep in another hotel. I could not recommend this place less.
