The room we stayed in was perfect to explore Amsterdam from. It is centrally located, and we could walk to everything. The room itself was clean and cozy and Dessa was an awesome host, we will be back one day hopefully!

I loved my stay at la festa!! Desa was exceptional and very helpful with everything i needed. The room was impecable and very comfortable. I loved the fact that I could walk everywhere and everything was just 7-15 mins away! Will def come back!

Best Kept Secret in Amsterdam
The room was perfect! I’ve been to Amsterdam many time and have stayed in a variety of locations and spaces. As someone who is in the room very little, this space was perfect for me! The host of the bed and breakfast, Desa, is a delight.

I had a wonderful stay at B&B La Festa. The cozy room was right in the midst of a bustling neighborhood, so I felt tucked away but right in the heart of the city. It was easy to get everywhere I needed to go, and only a block away from delicious ice cream, supermarket, and cafes. I'm looking forward to my next stay!

Friendly Staff, Good Location
We had a very pleasant stay at the family run B&B La Festa. We had a clean room with a balcony and an updated bathroom. Desa was very warm and welcoming and looked after our needs. Just some things to add clarity. Although called a B&B, breakfast was avaible at an additional cost. And although the pictures on the site shows a kitchenette in our room (as did the evacuation plan) it is no longer the case.

I has a pleasant and comfortable stay. I'm glad I stayed on the first floor, Desa was so kind in bringing my luggage to my room. The location in the Jordan district was truly accessible to everything by foot and public transportation.

Excellent location for Amsterdam!
This is an excellent location in the beautiful and upscale neighborhood of Jordaan in Amsterdam! Within walking distance to everywhere that you would like to see in the city. It is also close to public transit and shops (grocery, restaurants etc). It is a great alternative to the traditional hotel in Amsterdam. The hostess is absolutely wonderful and makes you feel very welcome! The room/ensuite is nicely renovated and very comfortable. The only thing to realize is that this is in a renovated old building in Amsterdam, so there are steep and narrow stairs to get to the room. If you need physical accessibility or have difficulties negotiating stairs, then this is not the place for you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend this to everyone visiting Amsterdam!

Nice hotel
I was really impressed with the service at this hotel. The owners are very nice and were very helpful. The room was great-clean and more spacious than I expected. I would definitely stay there again.

Bring a mop!
They stay was okay, 1st like to say we where over charged (paid twice for city tax) booking said this was included but lady said that it wasn't, not going to argue €14 at the start of the trip, wanted it to be great. Then too the room, lovely sized apartment, bathroom was spacious however the state was not the best, the floor didn't look like it had seem a mop since the b&b opened the kitchen was not very clean, I know it's petty but before cooking breakfast on the 1st morning I felt it in my self to clean the Hobbs and the hood as these had only seen a dry cloth. And the bed was worse than worse! It has/had bed bugs, I can't say if you will experience this but me and my partner where crawling with them! Nice place but stay at own risk. Should have got some photos, you would have seen what I mean.

We are very sorry to hear that your stay at B&B La Festa did not live up to your expectations we try to provide all of our guests with proper service. This is additionally why it saddens us to hear your complaints through mail and not at the time of your stay this way we might have been able to prevent some of the issues at hand if not all. Additionally, with regard to the extra tax a distinction needs to be made between regular tax (in dutch: btw) and tourist tax. The latter needs to be paid per day and upon arrival indeed. The friendliest of staff you'll find anywhere, for certain. I guess all B&Bs are pretty small so I can't really complain. It was however difficult to find an available electrical outlet. Had to unplug hot pot from the power strip next to the only outlet under the desk in order to charge the phone. We'd stay there again.

The owners are very kind and friendly. Also they are flexible for your request and make you feel comfortable and easy on your stay, for instance they waited for my late arrival, getting museum tickets in advance, etc. The location is great as urban neighborhood atmosphere yet quiet and safe with cafes and restaurants nearby and artsy shops around. Close to public transportations, most of the sightseeing spots, and it is a lovely walkable environment. I had great time on this trip and would love to go back on my next visit.

I enjoyed the neighborhood. It offered a good safe area that was within range of a lot of hot spots in the area. The room was fine. It was a bit pricey for the room you get, but the service was good and friendly.

Clean rooms with kitchenette
At first it was easy to confuse the place with a restaurant, because the owners run the restaurant. You have to make contact with them and they meet with you in the restaurant. The door is automatic so it makes it easy to get in and out. There is no lift however, so you must carry your luggage upstairs which might be challenging to some travelers. The room has a kitchenette and a balcony, which makes it nice to just buy some food at a local grocery store and cook yourself. Definitely helps out with the cost!

B&B La Festa Amsterdam
Bjorn and Ayden were awesome. They make you feel at home. They offer shuttle service to the airport which is very handy. There is public parking around the corner if you require your own transportation. We used public transportation and it was easy to access.

Would highly recommend this little gem.
We loved this little hotel. Our room was small but it had a little patio that was perfect for a morning cup of coffee and/or a pre-diner beer. We really liked the location; it's a great neighborhood and it's a short walk to the tram that goes into the center. It's not a full service hotel so if you need a concierge this may not be perfect for you.

Great place to stay. We had the studio apartment with the patio, was nice to have somewhere to sit and relax in a busy city. Neighborhood was perfect, about a 20 minute walk from the train station and main sights. Resturant on ground floor was great.

Wonderful B&B in a quiet part of the city
Very welcoming and helpful owners. Facilities are excellent. Up a flight of stairs, but they handle the bags. Nice restaurant downstairs by the same owners. One meal and we were good friends. Excellent restaurant next door also. Little shops all around. Breakfast available and plentiful, enough food for 2 to feed 4. Will definitely stay there next time in Amsterdam.

Close to everything.
Tram station is a short walk making the whole City accessible. Lots of stairs to the rooms but wonderful room in a great location. They also have links with discounts for local events that allow one to skip lines. Our last evening we did an evening canal cruise and we took the tram to Central Station and the train to the Airport for E5.60 per person versus E40 cab ride.

Convenient home in Amsterdam
Do not be put off by the entrance: a narrow non-descript staircase next to a pizza place which also plays the role of an informal front desk. The rooms are comfortable, impeccably clean and location is perfect. And, of course, the owners (Bjorn and Aydin) do a wonderful job helping out in everything you might need. A Radisson it is not, but it does make for a very decent base from which you can explore Amsterdam.

The room suited our needs for a short stay in Amsterdam. Great location. Bjorn was helpful and easy to deal with. Friendly bunch in the restaurant downstairs and very accommodating for a party of 4 and one toddler. Excellent bakery on the corner, opens at 8.30 for a coffee fix and pastry.

When I read the reviews, I was excited to stay here. The room I was given, however, overlooking the very noisy street, was disapointing: just a small drab space, mushy bed, generally lacking in charm and suitability. It was only in the morning, after a mostly sleepless night, when I saw a room overlooking the garden, that I could possibly understand the good reviews - it looked totally different and very nice. Too bad for me. So - if you book a stay here, be certain you will be getting a good room - (not facing the street, with full facilities!) - or else go elsewhere! (WiFi was good; Staff were nice; Breakfast is NOT included, unless you pay a supplement.)

Had a delightful stay at this B&B... Well worth the money and in an excellent location. Most things in Amsterdam are merely a walk away. B&B staff were also very nice and ultra helpful. Will be returning.
