"One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. "We were 17 adults. I booked 7 rooms 4 months ago . I stayed ooty sterling 2 nights ( all 17 ) Kodikkanal sterling had terrible experience. First they don’t have big vehicles access to resort. Second they accommodate 7 rooms , but they charge for 2 adults 3790 for even sleeping in the floor. For 3 days trip they charge me over $ 3000.00 . Very bad "

"The rooms are well appointed and clean and cosy. The breakfast is nice and the lunch and dinner was tasty. The staff is friendly. The bathroom needs a wider range of toiletries especially shower gel and dental kit. Also, mineral water should be served.. The shower place should have a small shelf to keep shower gel and shampoo. Towels and face napkins should be placed without asking for them."

"The property was quiet and bathrooms were good. Staff - Ramji, Rahine and Muthukumaran (all restaurant staff) were particularly good in service and courtesy. Bad - the food choices weren't good for vegetarians, not much of south Indian dishes for a restaurant located in deep south India. Room service was below average. Overall, too pricey for the quality of stay."

"It was an excellent hotel located in the outskirts of Munnar. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent. We had many choices for the complementary breakfast. Dinner and lunch options were reasonably priced. Good complementary activities were available. Next time I will definitely go for a longer stay."
