"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. "

"We stayed here as a stop-off between driving. As described, it is a quiet place to relax away from the constant beeping from tuk tuks, cars and bikes. Activities are available - we took the option to kayak. The food, whilst good, needed to be warmer. Every meal was tepid in temperature. As it was out-of-season, there was only us and one other pair here. I can imagine this being a good place when more people are around. The "rooms" can be best described as glamping - big "tent" with A/C...

"We stayed over the Christmas break in a Jacuzzi suite. We booked at Deep Woods, but were put up in ELIXIR HILLS their BRAND NEW property next door (opened sometime in Oct 2017). Rooms are in a spanking new condition. Food was reasonably OK. This property is in the middle of the Pulimoottil Estate and is around 10 Kms away from Munnar (1 hr by road to Munnar). It is close to Deep Woods Resort, their sister property. We tried food at Deep Woods one night and that was also nice."

"It was an excellent hotel located in the outskirts of Munnar. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent. We had many choices for the complementary breakfast. Dinner and lunch options were reasonably priced. Good complementary activities were available. Next time I will definitely go for a longer stay."
