We stayed 2 nights in the middle of a month long driving trip around Spain and Portugal. Valencia is a modern city with numerous historical and cultural attractions and this hotel is first class in that environment. It is not over luxurious as much as it is impressive. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was offsite and I let the staff handle it. Loading and unloading were very convenient.
"Charming hotel tucked away in the historic section"
This is a beautiful hotel with interesting historic detail. My only negative is the size of the room and the lack of space for our belongings. The hotel is situated in the historic section but is close to everything we wanted to see. The breakfasts were wonderful and they make a terrific pitcher of Sangria!
Stayed here for 2 nights while at a conference. Very conveniently located for the conference centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the Jacuzzi baths in each room are a nice touch. Laundry service was excellent. The rooftop pool, gym and sunbathing area are very pleasant and the view across Valencia from the roof is stunning! The breakfast buffet was average, but the evening meals in the restaurant were excellent value with a Menu del dia each evening. This included a main meal (grilled chicken or fish with a sauce, potatoes, vegetables and a big salad) and a drink (incl. wine or a beer) for 10 euros! There is a supermarket and several other restaurants very close by too. I would definitely recommend for business use or couples, not sure if it would suit families though.
