"A very warm welcome from reception and efficient check-in and check-out. They had noticed I'd be staying another two nights on a business booking and made sure I had the same room. Great location with an easy walk into town. Spacious Bedroom and very comfortable bed. I didn't get to try out the spa, however the outside pool area was lovely, very few people there when I stayed."

"This was amazing from start to finish. 5 star service. The staff treated us amazing and the hotel was so romantic. If you are considering it for a special occasion absolutely go for it. They left us a bottle of cava and macaroons in our room! It’s only a 5 minute taxi from a train station and the train took 1 hr from Barcelona. "From the welcome glass of wine to the express check out- our stay could not have been more perfect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds, building and rooms are impeccable. The restoration of the historic buildings could not have been more tastefully done. We enjoyed being away from the big city and smaller towns- this is very much in a quiet country side area. In the restaurant the only down side is the griddle where the meat/ fish is cooked. SO slow, always had to que, they should fill the griddle but they don’t they ask each person one at a time what they would like as they get to the front of the que and then cook it, however the food is delicious. Aside from that I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. More a four star, not a five star. "
