"The hotel did not switch on generator for about 3 to 4 hours at night when regular electric supply was disrupted. On complaining ,the staff said that as customers did not request for generator supply, they did not switch it on. Their position was that now since you asked for it, we shall switch the generator on whereas it should have been a matter of routine in the event of power disruption. Secondly, regardless of discomfort & disturbance to guests, continous hammering was resorted to at night...

"Overall the experience is good. We had booked two rooms. We can see the snow-clad mountain as a back ground. Few points, water flow in the bathroom was quite bad. Both the bathrooms had stinking smell. Fresh towels were not supplied next day - till we asked for it. The price vs the facilities, I will say price is at a higher side."

"The R R hotel, was In a perfect position for our trip to McLeodgang, been a 10 minute walk into the small center. All male staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We were there in march for the cricket, and you’ve got to consider that you are at a very high altitude and it’s a lot cooler. Beds were very comfortable and you got a thick blanket as well. "Looks like they never did any room maintennace since the british left! Almost fell into toilet due to detatched seat cover. Door bolts broken. Never got a wifi or 3G signal in the room. Smelled of phenyl. Had Lawns were a highlight. Restaurant food and staff were also great. Other lower level staff was quite reasonable. Management is far below par. "
