"We put Bilbao on the itinerary mostly because of the Guggenheim Museum, but after learning about the old town and some of the history, we opted to skip the huge hotels near the museum and found this gem. Great restaurants and night life right there, and it’s still an easy walk to the Guggenheim."

"Nice hotel with a good bar in the lobby and a decent restaurant. The room was spacious and clean but lacked in interior decorating - a couple of pictures on the walls was about all. The biggest downside was that the room was hot at night as, like others we encountered on this trip, they had the heat on with no option for air conditioning. "Nice Hotel on the beach in Getxo, Bilbao. Excellent view from the room towards the beach. The restaurants were closed for renovation / change of owner and this meant no food was available in the hotel. There are restaurants close by and this covered up for this. "
