"We chose the Villa Romeo due to its location to the main train station, it's just across the street. We were only staying one night before flying from Catania to Rome. The hotel is old but well maintained. We enjoyed our brief stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical but could be eaten in the beautiful courtyard which is filled with plants, very pretty. Overall a fine visit. "

"The town is all hillside levels. This property was walkable to main area of Taormina. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and tasty assortment of pastries and cakes, breads etc. Very clean. Has the aesthetics of an old villa. We were in room 23 which opened to a big shared terrace with sea view. Room is small but it was fine. Very happy with my choice. Bus depot was walkable. I would recommend this hotel. "The property was dirty with rusted shower head, broken lights, dirty shower tray, cigarettes in the toilet, marks on wall, open roof hatch, broken door and marked bedding. The room smelt strongly of smoke and the windows were dirty. We did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. The bed could not be used as it was so dirty and the shower unsafe. I have stayed in basic hotels before but this was dirty, smelly and unsafe."

"Hotel Condor was an excellent choice for our stay in Taormina. It is located an easy walk to the main tourist street. The room was very clean and beautifully appointed with a lovely view towards the med far below. The town is very fun and very touristy. Great shopping and some very interesting sights, especially the Greek amphitheater, an incredible feat of engineering. It was lovely to have the pool at our disposal, and the spa would have been wonderful had it been open.The bed was comfortable but the room had a musty smell and there seemed to be mold spores between the shower tiles.
