"This property is very isolated, so pack snacks and even some games. We stayed 4 nights, but 3 would’ve been more than enough. The snorkelling on Black Island was fantastic. We did a full day and half day. Felt a bit let down by payment options at the end. Could only pay by PayPal which is the most expensive way to settle a bill. To the management: Please establish a Wise account which is much cheaper for travellers and you. Also need to make sure guests know before staying about payment options...

"Chindonan is located in a remote place and I had no problem getting there after being picked up at the port from the ferry - 45 minute speedboat ride. I came here for the diving and it did not disappoint. The food at the restaurant was tasty and offered a variety, including for vegetarians. "To reach the above island, we have to hire a boat from Coron Concepcion Port for peso 4,000. When we reached the island at 1pm, we have noticed that the island has been deserted and not a single soul, only 2 dogs around. We tried to reach the owner on his contact number but the number was no longer in used. "Stayed three nights. Wifi never even once worked during our stay. The staff was polite but nothing really worked like it should and even ordering a couple of beers was sometimes too much to get right the first time. Luckily there is a great restaurant adjacent, Ann & Mike that has great food and excellent staff. Anyone staying at pierhouse I would recommend outsourcing all your dining and drinking needs to Ann & Mike, even the prices were considerable lower there."
