"It would not take much to get 5 stars, but this stay was off season and service fell just short of perfect. We had dinner twice even though the menu was very limited. The second time, my wife's steak was requested rare and came overcooked. Replacement took 15 min which was very unpleasant arriving after having finished mine. This was not handled the way you expect from Relais & Chateaux. "

If you check in after a certain time, they will have to leave you instructions to enter. The location is perfect. However, the shower was stopped up, the air conditioning ran but didn’t cool. "I’ve never stayed in a national park with a hotel and I’ve visited three in Croatia. They allow me early check end, which I really appreciate it. Also enjoyed the amenities. I used the golf course and also used a golf cart to view the sites the first day and the second day I walked for seven hours around the perimeter and revisited the Roman villa ruins, which was exceptional.
