"This ryokan is good value for money. Having stayed in several ryokans, this ryokan is average. Service was good and facilities were decent with an interesting Pearl Onsen. However, the kaiseki dinner was a bit disappointing. Paid extra for the Matsusaka beef menu but the dinner was average and not worth the money paid. If you want to stay here, I would recommend to just take the basic dinner package. "

Most hotels will allow you to pay to have your bags shipped to another hotel or the airport. This hotel refuses to do that which means your bags show up at their destination with money due. Most hotels will not accept bags with shipping charges due. If you aren't there when the bags arrive, the hotel refuses them...

"The hotel is in a nice location near the water, at the end of the train line at Kashikojima. There aren’t many food options in the small village. It seemed very quiet at the hotel and some of the surrounding properties seemed abandoned, so it felt a bit dated and not a popular area anymore.
