"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vacances Bleues le Royal. The hotel has an authentic French feel with antiques, chandeliers, and elaborate mouldings. The rooms are more modern- the bed was very comfortable and the balcony looks out onto the Mediterranean. The only issues we had were that the bathroom lights didn’t work- we let the front desk know and they were supposed to send a workman to our room to check it out, but never did. The hotel is in a good location with the main restaurant area being a 5min walk, the tram link is about 5mins and Nice train station is about 10mins walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a perfect location near Garibaldi Place and the old town. It was also near the tram and bus stop which was ideal for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the hotel staff were extremely friendly and polite and made us feel really welcome. Our room was cleaned every day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. This hotel deserves at least 4*!"

"The location is amazing and only one street off the main Promenade, so great for a visit to Nice. Fortunately we had a nice corner room with windows, but the rooms and overall interior are very dated and a bit dingy. They should replace the mattresses soon. No closet, but at least there was a small refrigerator and a coffee maker! They do have a lounge with seating for breakfast and a very nice small terrace for drinks at the end of the day. Staff was very friendly. "
