The Georgetown Inn was a great hotel. Close to M Street, my room was large and charming. If I had to say one thing I didn't like, it would have to be the pillows, too hard for me (lol). I would stay there again.
We were very happy with the service and cleanliness. The room was small, but we weren't in it much. They could probably upgrade their TV's soon and update the bathrooms, but overall it was very comfortable. The Latham's location was just perfect. We parked our car with valet and were able to walk, catch a bus or hail a cab easily and quickly to any DC location we desired without a long drive or wait. The tour busses and trollies had stopped only a few blocks from the Latham as well. For the money it was a good value compared to the price of other hotels in the area. Overall we were very satisfied. One small complained, when we checked in the man at the desk told us they served a "complimentary" breakfast from 7-10am. This was a nice surprise considering the cost of valet/night. The next morning we found out that breakfast was not complimentary. I would recommend the Latham to anyone visiting DC and wants to stay in a great location with a lot of food and shopping only steps away.
