"A nice apartment style place overlooking the ocean at Doheny State Beach. PCH is between the place and the beach, so it’s a busy road that you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the beach camping area. Drive a few minutes to the beach just north and enjoy the sand. Can rent surfboards there. Very clean and the staff were both friendly and accommodating. Also nice jacuzzi!"

"I enjoyed the location and room was comfortable and clean. Only thing is I wish I knew the room I booked was in another building entirely not connected to the main hotel. The only way there was to walk down PCH and into a parking garage to go upstairs. This kind of took us by surprise along with the parking fee which seemed a bit excessive. "Beautiful hotel! We stayed at Pacific Edge Hotel to celebrate our anniversary and were ¨WOWED¨ from the moment we checked in! The check in was quick and easy and the front desk rep was friendly and efficient. When we got to our room we had a beautiful ocean view and balcony and we were greeted with rose petals, chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne! WOW!! "Price worked well, clean and comfortable beds, easy check in within the prime walking locations of San Clemente. Not to mention Nomads is delish for food and just upstairs. It was a bit strange to be underneath the restaurant (sunset room) and very loud until it closed / circa 11pm. The alley is right outside the window too but was quiet once all settled and we had a great sleep. Noted - dog friendly too"
