The hotel itself is somewhat lacklustre- rooms are
Cold and stark…. No artwork or anything…hallways look like army barracks and it’s loud because there’s nothing at all to absorb sound. Pool is nice, beach too, good location
Breakfast buffet is good, lots of choices. Dinner buffet is not worth having…. Was disappointing. Pretty lobby, staff at check in were friendly and helpful.

the location, the design, the staff, the room, the vibes were all top tier. If i have to nitpick, there were two things that i would have to mention. If i were entitled id throw a fit, since i am not, i hope that these are only things to be mindful of. If i had another visit to Venice Beach I would definitely stay here again frfr. With that being said…
1) if you happen to rent a car, there is no dedicated on-site parking. It was a really a non-issue, but you may spend an extra 3-5 minutes finding parking. As a solution that has probably already been thought of, I would like it if there was a valet service that collaborated with a local parking area/structure. Additionally, having a space to load-unload that is primarily reserved for Gjellina patrons would make the arrival process slightly easier. Street parking is really easy to find. If you can navigate a Traders Joes parking lot, venice beach parking is a no brainer.
2) the humidity outside is the humidity inside. Maybe i was doing something wrong. There is excellent ventilation, but my swim shorts never really dried. Still a non issue, they were dry enough.
IRRRregardless, i highly recommend staying here. The staff is friendly, the welcome cookie is fire, and there a lot of little things that are worth discovering yourself. And dudegirlbrosis, the location?!!! Nothings beats it.
Also, beware of coming here for beach music festivals, the city might cancel them because of “weather” and not ticket sales.
