Cairo Governorate Scuba Diving Holidays

Mohammed, the Manager, because of our early morn flight departure, was accommodating allowing us a 8 and half hour late checkout for a reasonable proportionate cost for our 4 rooms, all on the same floor. His father, Badr, who the property is named after (King Badr Pyramids Inn), was a very kind and helpful gentleman. The 4 included rides, for the 6 of us, to and from the Cairo airport were managed on time and efficiently. If we were back in Giza, Egypt, we would return to this modest-cost accommodation. Because of the surrounding bustle of that part of Giza and "calls to prayer," I used ear plugs for sleeping and that blocked out the extraneous noise.

Positives: Location: Center of City, near to main market, Nile river is walking distance away. Variety of food options available very near to the hotel, Money exchange services, Banks are very closed to the hotel, New and clean property Price: Budget friendly hotel Room: Rooms is neat and clean, Bed comfortable, Bathroom size good, Shower good, Hot water avaialble 24hrs, Room size ok, Balcony ok, Kitley,small freeze,TV Telephone, USB charging ports, Reading lamp available. External laundry facility availble to wash the cloths. Receiption area is good, Staff is friendly and cooperative. Negatives: Location: Too much vehicle noise from morning 7AM till 11:30PM due to very close to the main market road which busy all the time. Hotel is located inside the apartment on 5th floor so don't expect the entrace like any other hotels. It does't feel that you are statying in hotel. Feel like you are staying apartment hotel. Breakfast: Fixed breakfast like you get in flights, only serves omlet, one cut fruit, Two breads with jam, butter cheese, packed curd, Coffee or tea. No more breakfast options available. Brakfast area is inside the lobby. No proper restaurant area available to serve the breakfast, no kitchen available like any other hotels. Room: No tea, no coffee, no water bottle inside the room, No room service, No restaurant inside the hotel, Wardrobe not available for cloth storage, Cloth hangers not available, table not available. Room only clean if you inform to clean

Room is spotless and sheets are so clean. Service is impeccable especially Nour and Farha they made me feel at home. Breakfast is delicious and fresh! I would stay here every time I go to Egypt

Excellent service and staff! They are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The welcoming dinner was delicious. Breakfast was great, fresh and great amount of food! The room was specious and with a nice view to the pyramids. 100% recommended!

From the street, it isn't apparent there is even a hotel but once you arrive at their floor it is quite elegant. My hotel room was well appointed, with beautiful furnishings, and an excellent pyramid view. The staff was exceptional. Friendly and accommodating. I remember all of them because they were so genuinely friendly. Nada, Walli, Yousseff and Ferris. They make the hotel experience complete. The hotel is lucky to employ them. The AC, the bed, the view, the bathroom were great. I highly recommend this hotel. Bart.

Appreciated the complimentary pickup from the airport and the personalised breakfast service although would have appreciated a little variety since we stayed here for four nights. They do offer tour packages but found their prices a little steep. Also, when I exchanged some local currency with them, they initially gave me a bunch of small notes, then when I checked that the amount was half of what I should receive, they suddenly said they’re still getting more change for me and took the small notes from me and gave me bigger notes. Additionally, I found out later that exchanging currency at the bank offered better rates. I do understand that the staff try to provide a personalised service but them knowing I made a day trip to Luxor without mentioning it to them specifically felt like an invasion of privacy, especially since I’m traveling alone with my sister. The room furniture was a little dated but the tub with view of the Pyramids was nice. Overall, it’s a decent place but I would not choose to stay here again.

The staff were SO helpful and friendly. I was with a group and the staff made our visit in Cairo even more enjoyable. They helped us with setting up transportation and restaurant recommendations, etc. They really went above and beyond. The 2 men, each named Saif, Adam and the woman Shahenda were all great.
