Hotel is very nice and clean, beds are awesome with Pillows that I can't find in shops, we had a sea view room, which was well worth it. But for some reason the room had no heating option, and with 14 deg evenings in Winter this was on the borderline of comfort.

Having the club lounge package was a game changer. We were there to celebrate a significant birthday and the staff were wonderful at making us feel special. The lagoon pool is just amazing and we were lucky to have wonderful winter sunshine ☀️ 🙌🥳

The Star was convenient to the conference centre which was our reason for booking but otherwise you would only go there if you were going to the casino.
The room was small and a bit run down. There were some holes in the ceiling that we had to ask to get covered.
There would be better places to stay if you are holding in Broadbeach.
