East Coast Zanzibar Romantic Holidays

Everything about this place was 10/10! Food was delicious, customer service was top tier, and accommodations were clean. Everything down to the refreshing scents of the robes, no detail was missed. I had an over water villa with pool. The pool was clean and cleaned again during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend if staying in Zanzibar.

Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. In addition, the food unfortunately falls below expectations. Considering the price, the culinary experience could have been significantly better. This becomes particularly noticeable when compared to similar hotels in destinations such as the Seychelles or Cape Verde, where the food standard is often higher within the same price range. It is also worth mentioning that the Hotels.com Gold benefits (Early/Late checkout, Upgrade) do not seem to apply here (even when listed on confirmatio). However, this appears to be more an issue with Hotels.com rather than the hotel itself. Overall, a perfectly acceptable place to stay, but somewhat overpriced for the experience it offers.

I took my two Boys at the end of July and we flew directly to the Island of Zanzibar from Dubai . This hotel must be the best Hotel on the Island the rooms are lovely the staff are excellent , the food is fantastic , the evening music events are incredible , the Hotel beach section is awesome and the grounds of the hotel are so beautiful and enormous . This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in around the world and it was a good location for me to book my boys on an African Safari flying to Serengeti then NgoroNgoro crater
