The only real problem we had was there is really no place to sit but at a gambling table or slots. Because of this we were in pain having to walk to get to things, so it limited our enjoyment of the place. Also could have used a map in our original arrival materials. On the positive side all the food we ate was delicious and cooked to perfection.

A week before arrive I started sending then messages asking if the rooms have coffee maker so I avoid bring one because everything I found online was conflicting information. They finally responded but on my checkout date, completely useless. Then I asked for daily housekeeping as I was coming with kids, second day and no housekeeping at all. I called asking and they said they will send someone, Next day while we were sleeping at 11:30PM they opened our door to do housekeeping, so what in the world??? really? at 11:30pm waking us up and then having our little daughter scared all night about someone opening the door and taking her, good job Horseshoe!! I know it was "our fault" for forgetting to put the door security lock that you flip but C'mon, you can do better. Since the check in at the counter people were rude, I should had known better and never check in but of course they will slice me with more fees. From the 7 hotels I've stayed in the strip this by far has been the worst!

Hotel was basic and functional. Appropriate decor for Vegas. The automated express checkout failed to provide a folio (which you cannot get online without a waiting period of three business days), and the shampoo dispenser was definitely not filled with shampoo but some other soap. I think those are both reasonable expectations that any hotel should meet that the LINQ did not.
