Bow Valley Parkway Mountain Holidays

This is our second time at this hotel and we loved it. The rooms are spacious and clean and the mini fridge was perfect for our beverages and snacks. The staff is wonderful. We haven’t stayed long enough to try the restaurant or the pool but we’ll be back.

Very nice hotel, only stayed one night but parking was pretty easy in garage next door and there was a great spot a short distance away with a rooftop bar

The staff were all very hospitable. The accommodations were less so. Think of an oceanview berth on a cruise ship, but without all the engineered features that make it comfortable. The shower door is so close to the foot of the bed that it can't be opened outward enough to enter, only inward, and there are large gaps so water runs out into the suite. This, I'm guessing, is why the parquet floor is loose and ill-fitting. While there is a chair, there's no accompanying table, so if you choose to eat in your room, you'll be using your lap. Opening your luggage is the same story — there isn't room even on the floor, so it's your lap or the bed. And please note there is no refrigerator — my bad for assuming that in this day and age. Then we were startled awake in the middle of our first night when one leg of the headboard collapsed. Exhausted from our trip, we decided to put up with the listing to portside for the rest of the night. We reported the issue and, for our second night, found a stack of 2x4s wedged under the corner for support. I should point out that while we're not in peak fitness, we're also not obese. Was it a memorable stay? Why yes, it was. Would we go back? Nope.
