We were pleasantly surprised. Spacious rooms, only waited for the bathroom once in the 4 nights we stayed. The staff were very nice and helpful. The common area/bar/restaurant area was very comfortable. Roughly a 2.5 km walk into town. We would definitely stay here again

"As a first timer on Svalbard, the Coal Miner’s Cabin didn’t disappoint! I love how it is away from the main part of town and the rustic feel to it. It has gorgeous views and super comfortable beds. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable."
