Berchtesgaden Alps Kid friendly Holidays

I would like to highly recommend the cleaning staff to thoroughly clean the restrooms and carpets. Upon arriving for our stay we noticed our room had a terrible urine odor, and we brought it to the attention of the staff at the front desk right away. A cleaning woman came by the room and sprayed “product” on the carpets then left. Then we left for dinner hoping the odor would be gone by the time we came back, but it didn’t. We called the front desk again and spoke to management, and they stated they will be sending someone up right away to see for themselves. We waited about 30 minutes until another cleaning lady came by, and she did exactly the same thing as the first time, juat sprayed the carpet with more “product.” We asked her if someone was still going to come check the room, and she said “no.” At this moment we are very disappointed and frustrated, so we called the front desk again. We paid for the VIP suite with the Hollywood sign view, and were forced to downgrade our room because “management” couldn’t find another solution to accommodate us. Its safe to say we will not be returning.

Front Office staff Brielle and Cory were fantastic! waiter Zach was hysterical. Decor and welcoming vibe was so Malibu. Loved it!

Really enjoyed my stay! Very clean and extremely quiet. Hope to return soon!

There was a free drink area (sparkling water and coffee), that was very nice and helpful. but reception wasn't physically there. You need to talk to the machine and remote operator will help you verbally. Check in and check out are very smooth if nothing happens. but they don’t clean the room or change the towels unless you requested. If you stay for a few nights, you need to consider that part. Overall, it’s a nice little hotel where located to close to supermarket and target. We stayed there for the dodgers game and it was only 12-15 mins away from the stadium by uber. so it was very convenient.
