"Beautiful château! The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the air conditioning was a huge plus. The grounds surrounding the château are stunning, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. We saw a hare and lots of birds, which made the setting even more special. The breakfast wasn't very extensive, but everything was delicious and of excellent quality. Honestly, I didn't want to go anywhere else—I just wanted to stay at the château and enjoy the peace and tranquility."

"The property looks like a classic Chateau from the outside but is finished miserably on the inside. If you like shag carpet in hallways, polyester velvet contemporary chairs, uninspired decorations, and strong smells from cleaning chemicals and paint then this might be the place for you. Otherwise keep looking. Staff was ok during our limited interaction, but did a poor job of communicating after we decided to move on."

If I have to be picky, I do wish they had a fridge in the rooms or one that could be used by the guests in the kitchen (this is helpful if you are traveling with babies or small children). "The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely. The hotel is attached to five acres of woods, they allow dogs to stay in the rooms, and our two Labradors loved their walks there.
