Wonderful hotel, great location and fantastic staff

Beautiful location and staff were very friendly. Triple room I ordered was unilaterally changed to double by management before we arrived as they only saw 2 people, but we had three so needed a triple room . They ended up charging more than I paid upfront which was fine but we had to move rooms after first night. I had been in communication with them before we arrived so wish they would’ve just asked and then all would have been fine when we arrived.

The room offered a great view of the Rapallo beach. The culinary experience at HEY, the hotel’s restaurant, was amazing. The chef is VERY talented and creative. We will definitely come back!

Our check in was very disappointing. The room was very small so I request an upgrade which I was happy to pay for- the receptionist explained they had a room but it was being cleaned, for us to go enjoy lunch and come back to sort it out. On our return they had sold the room to someone else. Hotel location is nice, rooms tiny and old/ worn. Beach set up in also very small with sun loungers crammed together. the beach is lovely. Stay in a proper hotel and come use the beach!

Beautiful property and location. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Vistamare breakfast and dinner were excellent. Pool and beach area are well kept and inviting. The concierge and reception staff were all first class and provided exemplary service. I would highly recommend this luxurious property if you are staying in or near Santa Margarita Ligure.
