"Stayed here for two nights on a solo business visit. Clatskanie is a very small town, just a couple of restaurants, very pleasant location along the small Clatskanie river, near the Columbia.
Building itself is older and a standard sort of two-star motel. My room was recently renovated and had modern, pleasant furnishings in subdued greys, could have been any Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn out there. Clean, no complaints.

"Was not my first selection and wish I would have selected a different hotel. Very dated. Staff was great and very helpful but the hotel itself was in rough shape. Carpet in the room was dirty and felt sticky. We had a bug, silverfish, in our room. Went for breakfast 30 minutes before it was done being served and there wasn’t anything left. A comment was made by the staff that I need to give detail of my vehicle so no one would do anything to it. What does that mean?"
