I had seen others complaining about staff and check in but we could not have been happier. We arrived around 2 and i went to desk to ask about parking thinking we could just sit at the bar and relax. Staff asked name and said Oh your room is already ready - the he said they upgraded us to ocean front (pick an oceanfront room is you can it is GORGEOUS) and then gave us drink coupons for free drinks at the bar.
The building is old (1960s) but the room was clean, spacious, and the VIEW whew. Its not a huge resort (which i prefer) but the food and drinks were quite good. The location is excellent so much to do. Unfortunately it was very windy and a high surf advisory so we did not get to enjoy the beachside chairs, etc.
My wife said next year when we are down she wants to stay here again. Highly recommend.

The spa therapist I had was amazing. The beach staff was excellent, as well as the front desk. The beach views were stunning, and the rooms very clean. If I ever needed something, the service was quick and friendly. I will be making this my go-to spot in Fort Lauderdale. Easy.
