9.6/10 Exceptional! (4,161 reviews)
This was the worst hotel out of the four I stayed in during my two week trip to Japan. The room looked really nice and modern at first but then I noticed large hairs in the bathtub. I don't know how the cleaning staff could have missed them. I told the front desk and they offered to switch me rooms, which I took them up on. I got into my next room and it looked clean but the bathroom smelled horrid, like there was something wrong with the pipes. I didn't want to complain and move a second time so I decided to put up with the putrid smell. I tried to put it all behind me but the next morning I noticed an ant crawling on my bed. Absolutely disgusting. I couldn't believe a hotel in Japan could have such low cleanliness standards. I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are many other fantastic hotels in Tokyo that are actually clean and worth your money.

Not bad. Good room size and view. Now that I’m at another 5 star hotel in Tokyo I can see the value of The Grand Prince Hotels.
