The staff is very hospitable! I was iffy going into this since there isn’t much online about the hotel or what’s going on in the island. You typically only see the luxury resorts for Maldives but staying local was a great way to save some money and still have access to tours to explore the surrounding area and even visit a resort to get a touch of the experience. The island is still developing for tourists but Kaani was great with making the experience pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at in the area and Kaani had a great restaurant and dining included in the stay. They have three properties right next to each other so you’ll use the dining facilities and spa in the other hotels too. Bikini beach is right in front of the hotel as well. The locals are so kind!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, and I found the lobby both spacious and comfortable. However, the hotel uses a very strong air freshener with a scent that I found quite bothersome. While our standard room (606) was small, it remained cozy. That said, the bathroom was very cramped, and some of the fixtures did not work properly. The breakfast was adequate, but quality could be better.

The hotel was exceptional. The airport is the next island so plane noise was constant, but didn’t really bother us. The beach water is clear but not swimming depth Perfect for kayak because water is so calm.

Our stay at Furaveri Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. From the crystal-clear waters to the peaceful island vibes, everything was perfect. The villas were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The food was truly amazing — Chef Jitendra prepared delicious and tasty meals every time. A special thanks to Bala from the F&B team for his excellent service, Tammana, our island host, for taking great care of us throughout our stay, and Manan from housekeeping for keeping our villa spotless and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay at Amber Beach Maldives. The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. The airport shuttle made arrival easy and it was simple to get a taxi anywhere when needed. The location is great with the beach right across the road, perfect for relaxing walks. There are also nearby shops and places to grab ice cream which was really convenient. The rooftop area was amazing with beautiful views. The food was delicious, especially the refreshing fruit salad with ice cream. I also enjoyed the breakfast which offered a nice mix of English and local dishes. Overall it was a great stay.
