The staff there was amazing. Andraina was the front desk girl and she was super helpful. She told us what restaurants were good. She would have his cars booked when we needed them. The housekeeper was great. She gave us some Mass to take to us when we went on our cruise ship and I cannot forget about Jovanna. She was the one in the restaurant that would make us fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. She danced and dance to my husband for his birthday. Just a lovely lady. I highly recommend staying at this place. It's like a boutique hotel, four stars and it's right by all the shopping and by the marina for the cruises. So you're right by everything. You can literally walk everywhere. I give this a hotel a 12 out of 10. If you want to experience things there just talk to them. They will get you the right drivers and everything we went to a little place called Monreal. Our driver's name was Luigi and he was fantastic. If you can get him as a driver while you stay there definitely ask for him. Thank you for making our honeymoon, 5-year anniversary, and birthdays amazing!

Great location, was a little concern about bedding, noise, and overall quality of room based on feedback but was pleasantly surprised with hotel. It is an old hotel, so something aren’t going to be perfect given the age but the location was perfect if you wanted to be close to major sites and restaurants.

Had an issue with the cleanliness of our room upon arrival. The housekeeping staff were extremely rude when directed by management to rectify, but the management and reception staff were wonderful and did everything they could to make the situation right. Cannot complement them enough and gives me confidence that similar issues will not arise in the future. Breakfast was great and property overall was well-maintained.

Very nice property and the location was excellent... right in the heart of the historic district. But the high point of this hotel is the restaurant. First of all excellent breakfast with a panoramic view of the city from the rooftop. And the dinner menu is outstanding... very unexpected for a hotel restaurant... highly recommended.

Under Construction: be sure to call to see if construction is still happening when you plan to stay. Construction starts by 8:00 a.m. and you will experience the hammering and drilling noises of it even if you have an inside room. We had an inside room; there was no traffic noise at all. Wifi was flaky and it is annoying that you will need to provide your email address and phone number to use it; in addition, you will be forced to provide a brief hotel review the second time that the Wi-Fi is activated, in order to access Wi-Fi. The breakfast was excellent (except for the hot chocolate, which was of the thin and over-sugared type). The location is rather good; it is about a 16-minute walk to the intersection of Victor Emmanuel and Maqueda. Extremely easy access to or from the Palermo airport using the 6-Euro airport bus; do not take a taxi or use anything else. Make sure that you have the delicious lobster and pasta dish for 30 euros at Enomis, which is on Victor Emmanuel, 1 or 2 minutes walk west of Quattro Canti.

Good things: Great location with good staff. Excellent breakfast. Good working A/C. Bad things: Extremely loud construction noise literally right next door with connected walls with drilling and banging non stop from 7AM to 7PM. Just terrible! Zero comfort and relaxation in the room during those hours. Also the hotel is extremely dated. Needs a complete remodeling. Nothing works in the room. Shower is terrible with no water pressure. Remodeling of the entire hotel is at least 25 years overdue. Very strange TV set up. Staff are very kind and helpful. Poor condition of the hotel is not their fault. All and all, for the price and location, OK.
