Tropical North Queensland Cheap Holidays

Place worked for us as we were there with friends and their families too (we had 5 kids under 10 in total) The restaurant and bar food was good plentiful. Reasonable pricing. The pizza place was fine and worked for the kids. Staff were super helpful. The place was busy every day we were (9 days) there and had what seemed like school groups and sports teams staying. Worked well for us but might not be for everyone. Loved being close to the airport and there were good buses into town nearby (we also had a car). All in all, would totally stay again. Highlight were the pools which always seemed to have space, the staff and the renovated rooms (some parts of the resort could use a spruce up but was all cosmetic). Totes worth it. Ta for a grand wee break :)

Very nice place and big rooms

Location - superb. Right on the Esplanade and the bonus was being there when the annual Cairns festival was in full swing

Complaint would be the wireless internet and the streaming device on the TV in our room was constantly dropping out and the internet was terrrible. Only other issue I was on crutches and we were placed on the top floor and there are no lifts this meant that we could not go out as planned due to this issue. The apartment was nice clean and well maintained just the above let it down.

Nice clean comfortable room. Unfortunately no designated smoking area. Had to go out on the street. Restaurant for breakfast was very ordinary too, compared with others.
