a dream comes true to stay at the Westin hotels /resort 😊 It’s best for those who looking for a relax quiet beachfront day or night. Just a couple of restaurants if you are a food lover

My family enjoyed a short 3 day stay at this resort and overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, pool was generally clean (except for people smoking cigars and ashing in pool!) and facilities were well maintained. Our daughter loved the kids club. We loved most of the staff at the bars and restaurants and had delisious food at Don Gus. I was impressed. What was not so great was the check in process. No one explained to us where anything in the resort was. There is no printed resort.map, and i saw other guests getting walked around the property getting showed where to go for things,while this did not happen with us. You had to download an app (which required your room number -that i didnt have for the first few hours because we got there early) and the app had information needed for making reservations for restaurants as well as the schedule. However the app is clunky. It is not user friendly, a horrible experience overall. As a digital native, if the app was hard for me to navigate i cant imagine what it would be like for others who are less savvy. I spent half of our first day trying to figure out where to find food other than the snack shack by the pool and when i asked people in the lobby i got vague directions and was told to look at the app. Very frustrating and terrible customer service. For such a short stay, it was a shame i wasted so much time on this nonsense especially once i found everything and realized how close it was.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everything was amazing. I will be back for sure!

The uber situation was awful! To get into an uber, when leaving the resort, we had to walk down a steep pathway and onto the broken muddy street. Right outside the resort. Very dangerous with all the traffic, and rocky unkept pavement. It was worse when we had to meet our uber driver down there, when it was time to go home. We had to roll our luggage and carry what ever else we had, I was upset, hit and almost sprained my ankle. It was bad!! Bad for the older people and for the younger kids.

Everyone is very friendly, clean, organized. You get what you paid.
