Palm Beach Isles Cheap Holidays

My feelings are mixed about this resort. We had terrible weather while we were there, so maybe this has affected my review. The restaurants are not super close to walk to. Pompano pier is not a bad walk ( if it’s not raining), but not super close. Lauderdale-by- the -sea is 2.5 miles walking. There is a strip mall across the street with a deli and a pizza/ dive bar (did not try). So close options for food are limited. The room was clean but dated. The sofa bed that my son slept on was terrible, but our king bed was comfortable. There was no regular coffee maker in the room only an espresso machine so that was a negative. It was hard to find a good cup of coffee nearby. You pay $5 for a cup of terrible coffee in the lobby. The area out back by the bar ( oceanfront) was nice. The pool area is ok.. nothing exciting. On another note we did have good food at to different locations by the Pompano pier. If I were to go back to this area I would stay closer to Lauderdale-by- the -sea.

It is false advertisement when you say Partial Ocean View and the only thing you can see is AC units on the rooftop of the building. Although this is listed as an Expedia VIP hotel, there were zero perks or acknowledgment even though it was noted that this was rented for an anniversary celebration. The Location is good, it is a 20 min walk to Lauderdale by the Sea Bars and restaurants. It is a favorite area of ours

Clean room, great view! Friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay. Location is great, quieter part of FT. lauderdale, but still close to a lot of things

Staff very very polite and fast with service. Very clean upscale hotel with pools for sunrise or sunset. And great beach with chairs and umbrellas. Great local shops and bars within walking distance. Recommend the water taxi for $35 takes you all over Fort Lauderdale and drops you off at bars, attractions and shops.
