We had a building in front of us that I was not aware we would have. Do the view was a little bit bad, but was not terrible at the same time. One other thing was the main pool was closed for repair. Wish we would have known prior.

We were supposed to receive a $20 beverage credit, but did not receive it. We used the kiosk to check in and the line at the reception desk was always to long to ask anyone about the beverage credit.

The room was clean but plain, and it was not a good view. In fact, the window oversaw an empty building next door. At check-in, I politely requested an upgrade to a better room and or an ocean view, and I was told there wasn't any availability to do so. Not sure I will stay in this hotel again. We had a great stay at the Cavalier Hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful. They also have a bar area as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for dine-in or take-out. The beach is only a few steps away! The hotel provided beach towels as well. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom doesn't have a proper door that locks. It's only a sliding door, which we found difficult for privacy. All the staff we met were also very friendly and helpful. The only note for anyone looking to stay at this property is that the hotel itself doesn't have any parking. There is a Municipal Parking Garage right around the corner from the hotel. We found it very convenient to park there (including overnight parking). It's open 24 hours, clean, has stairs and elevators to get to the street.
