The surprise 1000baht deposit was an unwelcome surprise- and we were early and our room wasn’t ready- I was told they would call me when it was ready but that never happened. When we decided to try again at 4 pm the room was ready.
The hotel is lovely and well appointed but there was mold around the tub in the bathroom. Also, there are 3 levels in the bathroom and the step between sink area and toilet is not well marked and treacherous til we got used to it.
On the plus side pool area was lovely and breakfast was awesome

Hotel was rundown and in poorpoor repair. Staff were great and helpful. Very nice people and the security was also good. Absolutely great location.
