I arrived at the hotel with a booking for a de luxe room. The room (319) was very small and dark a filthy outlook, bins and bird droppings and high buildings on all sides with the air conditioning units outside my window and the noise of a tv (presumably from next door). I immediately went to the reception desk and asked if my room was really a de luxe room. One of the receptionist asked if I was a solo occupant. I replied I was, which was probably why I had been given this awful room. After two receptionists spent some time on the computer I was given a new room (357) which had the same outlook but at least I could see the sky! I make no apology for saying I would not stay there again and fully expect this comment to be disregarded, if it is read at all! The photographs I am including (which were the best I could get as the windows didn’t open any further) were taken from the second room I was given on the 5th floor. The first room was on the third floor which was literally on top of the air conditioning units. Carol Clapperton

Loved the modern vibe. Comfortable bed. Room was good size. Only issue was a party in the courtyard one evening. Was audible and quite loud. That said, the party ended at a reasonable time and didn't interfere with our sleep. Coffee bar was great. Had one dinner at the restaurant. Really good veggie burger (loved the curry spices). Note: this hotel in not centrally located and a good 30 minute walk to the old center ( Trinity College). This was not an issue for us and we knew ahead of time. Just a heads up for others.

NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!!! Several flights cancelled so hotel filled up quickly. My flight cancelled as well, but made my own arrangements through you. I was in a hurry as price changed in the 5 minutes it took to book! When I arrived at hotel, I asked the girl at the desk about air conditioning and she said they were full and this is what she could offer. EXTREMELY disappointed. It was hot in Dublin especially at the airport. She gave me a smart alec answer...I should tell Clayton to air condition all their rooms if that was what my preference was. Also, since airlines were booking rooms, I'm sure they had a discount and got air condition rooms and I paid out of pocket. Disappointing service from front desk.

Clean, modern rooms. Helpful staff. Well located walking distance to many restaurants, bar, shopping.

Our room was a family room with a king bed and 2 singles. We loved the size and layout of the room. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was our only complaint. The shower didn’t work, the water only dribbled out but we were only staying one night before leaving Dublin so we didn’t report it.
